Erected from a part of Chartiers Township by the Court of Quarter Sessions March 2nd, 1891, at No. 7 December Sessions 1890 -Miscellaneous Docket 9, page 426. (Petition, etc., recorded April 22nd, 1893, in Charter Book 20, page 8 Recorder's Office). Lot of Mary Moseley (Part of Chartiers Township) annexed by Ordinance, Plan, etc., filed in the Court of Quarter Sessions, March 27th, 1902, at No. 21 March Sessions, 1902 -Miscellaneous Docket 16, page 240. June 13th, 1902, Decree of Court Confirming annexation. Merged in the City of Pittsburgh by the Court of.Quarter Sessions November 8th, 1905, at No. 40 March Sessions 1905 -Miscellaneous Docket 17, page 358, and was made the original 40th Ward of said city, by Ordinance approved March 2nd, 1906, recorded in Ordinance Book 17, page 375, city Clerk's Office. Now part of the 20th Ward. |
